I will never ever upgrade as long as my files get converted to the new file type. But that's how I see things from my point of view. They may lose a few users, but life will go on for them just exactly the way they want it to.įor the record, I'm just stating my opinion. My guess is they are going to remain silent, do nothing and hope users will stop complaining. They need this new file type in order to make the software work the way they want it to work. For crying out loud, they created a whole new file type and designed the software to work around this new file type! How are they going to fix it? If people start changing the file type, then some of the other features of the new design won't work. I think we should all admit it's never going to be fixed. The software was DESIGNED to work this way on purpose. I keep reading how TechSmith says it's a "known bug" and it will be fixed. ![]() Maybe if everyone starts asking for refunds you might actually get the message!!! Seriously waste of money and just annoys customers. Why build another file format anyway, its not like its better and there are already more than enough quality file formats. Now that they have this crap we have to consider moving to alternate product as they have no interest in listening to customers. Clearly this companies has zero idea on how people use their product and zero understanding of the customer and what they want and what works for them. So you know have to go through two steps just to get to the file format your after and then once your hard drive starts to bloat you need to go and delete the crappy snagx file formats which have zero value in the first place. It then means you have to resave the file so now you have two files on the hard drive rather than one. This does not work and even when you choose to save in another format it still only saves initially in the crappy snagx format that no other program on the planet recognises. ![]()
